The Augusta C-Bridge changes were finalized as of this morning. Our DMR repeater was reprogrammed with the new info this afternoon. Bookmarks to the prior Augusta C-Bridge Call Watch & Peer Watch pages should be updated to: (New) Augusta C-Bridge Call Watch: http://207.246.80.187:42420/CallWatch or http://nw.cbridge-aug.org (New) Augusta C-Bridge Peer Watch: http://207.246.80.187:42420/PeerWatchFrame or http://pw.cbridge-aug.org If anyone notices issues after this change/update, especially with our machine, please let me know. 73 - Dave, N1DAE

As discussed at our monthly meeting and the on-the-air meeting, we are going to try to have some Sunday afternoon transmitter hunts this fall. These will begin at 2 pm on the 146.94 repeater and then go to 146.58 simplex for the hunt. Unlike the summer Thursday evening hunts which are done within the Bangor city limits, these Sunday hunts will be in other towns around Bangor, such as Brewer, Hampden, Hermon, Glenburn, Orono, and Veazie. They will be held every other week. I’m the fox for this first one on the 17th. Forecast looks like the storm will be over by then, so as long as there are hunters, I will be out there hiding. Hope that several will come out to find me. ~WA1IOG

Passed on by Dave N1DAE Aug 1, 2023 Last night it was reported that our VHF repeater was occasionally noisy and/or not working at all. All other parts of our system appeared to be working normally which pointed to an issue with the VHF repeater itself. It was taken off the air earlier today for diagnosis and repair. Obviously this throws a bit of a monkey wrench in the weekly on air meeting using VHF... but UHF still works... While our VHF repeater is down, our UHF repeater remains on the air. This repeater doesn't have quite the range of our VHF machine bit it's still perfectly functional. If you don't have the following channel in your UHF radio give it a try: Rx: 444.400 Tx: 449.400 88.5
