As discussed at our monthly meeting and the on-the-air meeting, we are going to try to have some Sunday afternoon transmitter hunts this fall. These will begin at 2 pm on the 146.94 repeater and then go to 146.58 simplex for the hunt. Unlike the summer Thursday evening hunts which are done within the Bangor city limits, these Sunday hunts will be in other towns around Bangor, such as Brewer, Hampden, Hermon, Glenburn, Orono, and Veazie. They will be held every other week. I’m the fox for this first one on the 17th. Forecast looks like the storm will be over by then, so as long as there are hunters, I will be out there hiding.
